Welcome and congratulations! If you’re here, then either you or someone you know is probably expecting. Birth is such an incredible journey and I can’t wait to share it with you!
We all know labor is hard work but it doesn't need to be made any harder by distractions or worries! My goal is to create a safe, loving space free of judgements where every woman feels respected, informed, and empowered regardless of their birth choices. Most importantly, though, I want to get to know YOU. The real you. The you that feels safe enough to let me witness and share in one of the most important and sacred moments of your life. I hope you'll get to know me in the process, too. Maybe we can grab coffee (or tea!) soon but in the meantime, let me tell you a little more about myself.
Originally from Rhode Island, I now live in the Los Angeles area with the sweetest, bearded man I'm lucky enough to call my husband! He often describes me as an empathetic, focused, and generous person. (I hope you agree!) I spent thirteen years working with families and little ones as a nanny, a teacher, a family assistant, and a mentor before realizing my path as a doula and birth photographer. After relocating to CA, my husband and I both pursued careers that require a lot of flexibility but we've found that it really works for us. What a relief, because I wholeheartedly believe that birth work is what I am meant to do!
